  • abandoned
  • damaged
  • stolen
  • partially emptied
  • missed in a bin collection service.

What you need to provide
1 Issue details

Provide details about the issue/s such as:

  • the type of bin you’re reporting, e.g. red (general waste), yellow (recycling) or green bins
  • details of any damage (for damaged bins)
  • how many bins are affected (for abandoned and stolen bins)
  • public safety concerns
  • photos of the damages area (optional).
2 Location details

Provide location details such as:

  • street number and name
  • suburb
  • postcode. 
3 Contact details

Provide contact details such as:

  • name
  • phone number
  • email address.

You can report a missed bin collection for any bin type after 4.30pm on your collection day. 

For recycling and garden waste bins, you must submit the report within 2 working days of your normal collection day.

  • exceeded 70 kilograms and was too heavy for the truck to lift
  • was obstructed at the time of collection (e.g. blocked by cars)
