Severe weather can strike at any time and a little preparation now can make a big difference when it happens.
We're working year-round to keep Brisbane prepared, with crews already completing 13 planned burns, cutting more than 1,300 hectares of grass for fire breaks and maintaining over 114 kilometres of fire tracks and trails this year.
We also make sure pre-filled sandbags are available for collection 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at our 5 depots across the suburbs during storm season.
